Beth and Sophie

“Dr. Radosta literally saved the life of my beautiful Springer Spaniel Sophie.  When we moved to Florida two years ago, Sophie had a hard time adjusting, and unfortunately, she bit someone on the beach.  My husband and I took her to a veterinarian who had been recommended by a friend; without even touching her or examining her, this vet declared that she had “springer rage,” that it was incurable and we would have to put her to sleep.  We were completely devastated and I spent the next several days crying in my bed.

Thankfully, we got another opinion and the second, wise and fabulous vet referred us to Dr. Radosta.  We spent several hours with Dr. Radosta, who diagnosed Sophie’s problems as fear-aggression and separation anxiety, both of which are manageable.  She assured us that Sophie is a wonderful dog and could absolutely be helped.  We went home with so much more knowledge of our dog’s behavior and plenty of handouts and exercises.  We worked with Sophie consistently and regularly based on Dr. Radosta’s instructions and today she is a different dog — happy, less fearful, loving, and full of life.  We are still careful with her but she has never bitten again and continues to thrive.  We are so grateful to Dr. Radosta — she is Sophie’s heroine!!”
