“He is such a happier boy and it is a joy to see him.  With my friends who are often at the house, they call us as they are getting close, we go outside, both dogs ‘sit’ till they park the car, and then they both run to greet them. This is quite the change for Paco, indeed.  When we are out in the yard and a ‘stranger’ is out there, Paco retreats and sits quietly at the door waiting to go in, no charging, no barking. When we are walking he is calm.  I still ask people not to reach for him.  He sometimes approaches them for pats, especially if Rainha is getting some loving, but sometimes he just comes and sits by me.  Both responses as fine with me. I am so grateful for the help, instructions, and encouragement you gave me.  I still do ‘touch’ exercises to keep ‘the game’ going and fresh in his mind.  I know I will always have to be cautious with Paco, but we made it through all the visits from family up north without incident and I think he is feeling much more confident and happy.”
